Barbour – Bedale Wax Jacket

Dame Margaret Barbour designed the Bedale to meet the needs of the jockeys: it had a reduced length, a comfortable fit, Air vents on the back and the essential internal anti-drip nylon band that prevented the moisture of the horse to infiltrate the jacket. Made of medium weight waxed cotton (170 grams), extremely functional and equipped with optional thermal lining and hood with zipper, the Bedale is the perfect jacket to wear all year.The popularity of the Bedale inspired a more adherent women’s model, The Beadnell, named after a small fishing village in Northumberland.
